That was by biggest problem with the headers was the o2 sensors. I learned that you just counter twist it when you install it back so the wires will go back straight.

I remember reading that somewhere but not sure if that relates to all exhausts or what? I sure hope solo sounds good on first startup!!!

I was actually shocked when I first started it up....quiet at idle... ....not much louder then stock...then I gave DarkSol the gas.... Sweet!!!!!!! I have been giving DarkSol the gas ever since....hardly ever turn on the radio... never sounded bad ...only one bad thing about it now...I have to turn it off when I put it in the garage....

you could of disconnected the the 02 sensors. each had a plug end.. if you would of followed the wires they woould of came to some blue pins pull them unplug connect to the bungs replug replace blue pins.
As far as sound it was alittle loud at first but after awhile the loudness will calm down.

I tried when I did my headers and could not get them apart.

Sounds great right from the git. Mine did seem to get even better after a few days of driving. I think there are two reasons for this, one being a little soot lining the exhaust and two the computer getting used to the free flowing exhaust. Or, it could have been my imagination . Either way, I'm sure you will love it .

Wow I just woke up to christmas! I ordered my exhaust on thursday and I know DHL does not deliever on the weekends and yesterday was sunday and the tracking number last showed my package being in MI almost 6 hours from here. I was making breakfast at 8 am and was going to check the tracking numbers when the door bell rings and I am thinking who is that? Sitting on the front porch was a big package saying solo performance! Wow that was fast! I am so excited it should be on the car tomorrow because I am off all day! I will let every know how it goes.

Yes, please keep us (me) informed. I am anxious to hear your thoughts as i will be ordering solos single exhaust, header, and cat in late spring. You will have everything but the cat. I really want sound clips if you have that capability. Thanks.

Well I got it on! The most hardest part was getting the stock exhaust out of the rubber hangers. Boy that sucked. You must have a partner to help hold the pipes in place it makes a world of difference and a guy who works for my dad helped me out and it was great. It took about 2 hours or so maybe a tad longer. As for the sound it is definitley a much deeper sound! That rocks! I am really surprised that it is not loud at all. I have the mach...maybe I should have got the race. I believe it was deepblue who told me when he started it up he was like and so was I. However after revving it up you tell its a nice deep tone. I can even feel the deepness if thats a word, upon revving it. As for performance feel I am not sure yet. I want to say the ECM needs time to learn it maybe? Not sure how long that will take. My next mod is a tune so that will help tie it all together. Boy the solo is much smaller than that stocker and what the hell do I do with that big stock exhaust! The tip is awesome seems much bigger and it all fits excellent, very great craftsmanship. I just need more driving time maybe "break it in" somewhat. Overall I love it! Love the deep tone and its not loud at all....very surprised by that. Thanks solo! i will try to get sound clips up this week.

Congrats SS. The performance change for me was very subtle. It seemed like it took a good four days of driving on it. Then I started to get this new smile on my face realizing it was running better.

The ECM tune is great idea too, assuming you don't plan on going FI in the near future
