HELLO,....For anyone thinking about changing the single exhaust system on thier
solstice base to a dual system you need to check out Solo Performance and Jeff

I have been doing alot of reading , hearing and looking at which unit to go with...Magnaflow,billyboat and on and on.

I just ordered through Jeff a new SQR-2 COMPLETE KIT

IT WILL INCLUDE.
VALANCE PAINTED PROFESSIONALLY BLACK, COMPLETE EXHAUST WITH DUAL CENTRE OUTLET .

Jeff is nothing short of a gentlemen....the product is incredible.
I spoke to IKULSO....AND A FEW OTHER MEMBERS...they have all told me how they like the system they got.....i even got snap shots from 1KULSOL.

I am very happy that i got this system and will be posting shots as the install is being done.
Take care all

Hi RedOne. I left the torque specs out of the install instructions because when I tried to get the specs I received very conflicting info. If somebody knows the facts on this I know I'll be all ears. Here's what we recommend. Take a regular size wrench and tighten as per the bolt patters sent to you with the install instructions. Snug evenly and snug once, then go back to tighten. You should tighten very firmly. As much as a normal person could with a wrench while being concerned as to not over tighten. Drive for one week and then re-tighten. This should be the last time you ever have to check on or tighten the header nuts. Thanks.

Well, I noticed some exhaust smell for a little while and yesterday one of my managers was outside by my car as I was driving away. He told me today that my car is making noises and it sounds like an exhaust leak. I never told him I switched my exhaust out with a solo until after he told me that. I could not notice it from inside the cabin. So I went outside and popped the hood and I could smell exhaust. Then I went inside the car to turn it off and could smell it in the cabin as well. Looks like I just might have a leak. I never tightened the bolts down after heating a cooling cycles and so I hope thats the case. I was going to see if Jeff was on his way back from vegas if he was passing throught to stop on by and take a look! Looks like tomorrow I need to get back under it and take a look.

I am thinking of installing the headers, high flow cat and SQ2 system on my Sly N/A myself and I have found this thread to be most helpful.

Thanks to all that contributed to it.

I am ordering my stuff from Jeff in the next few days and will not hestitate to use this site and Jeff from Solo for any assistance I may need.

I am like others and a bit nervous about doing the work myself but I get really miffed when 3 shops quote me minimally $700 to do the install. Greed annoys me.

I will let you know how it all goes.
