Just Installed - Dual Cone Intake - Big Bore Throttle Body - Long Tube Headers!!

Last week I got a little carried away with the visual mods on my car with the wheels and tires + Eibach Sportlines... The balance just wasn't there!!!

Yesterday I spent a good part of the morning with Wes @ Saturn Motorsports in Temecula and got a few toys installed.

First was the Big Bore Throttle Body

Then Came the Dual Cone Fujita CAI

Here is a pic of Wes (The owner) installing my new long tube headers!!!

Here are the stock headers compared to the new headers

And finally the new headers installed!

Those are 'Shorty Headers', Long Tube exit @ Chassis/frame level.

Here is a Photo of "Long Tube Tri-Y Headers installed with Hi-Flow Cat"

Your mileage may vary

Hey, Endi -

Sweet!

Have you considered having those headers coated so they don't rust or discolor? There are some hot rod shops who do that kind of thing.

I'm thinking the next investment might be a supercharger. Jgene put one on his NA and is pretty pleased with it.

I've had my throttle body on and off twice now. Ran it with th ECM tuned and without. If there is any gain it's unperceivable. you would have to have a dyno to detect anything.

It does change the sound the engine makes though. And the butterfly appears to have more course control because the humps in the throttle body thet are intended to make the flow more linear from 0% to full open have been cutout.

Personally, I have found that I like the sound of the original TB with the dual filter CAI the best.

Are the Tri Y headers tuned?
