Need a quick answer for Tuesday from you guys

I am getting a header installed tommorrow and would loved to know if the high flow cat is worth the added dollars. Presently I have a K&N drop in air filter with the hockey puck mod to the intake. Would like to keep the stock exhaust since my wife enjoys the top down air in her hair feeling without exhaust noise. The header is Solo's shorty.

Thanks for your opinions.

Yes, the high flow cat is worth it and really is worth it. It does raise the volume, but really does help the motor breathe.

Hope that helps,
Dave

Absolutely. I just got Solo's high flow CAT and it's fantastic. You get a nice sound at idle and when you gun it. Not really any other sounds when you're driving normally. Pulls better and I run way way cooler than I was with the stock (went from 215 with stock to 185 being the normal temp with the high flow). I recommend Solo. Called Jeff pretty late in the day and he took my order in a car and sent the order straight to the NY branch and it went out the next morning. A pleasure to work with and the CAT is a pleasure to have in my car. You wont be disappointed.

forum experience indicates the cat will give you more hp than your header.

All done today. Looks & sounds great but I now have a rattle when I floor it at 3500 rpm. Sounds like it's coming from the origianl muffler. Any thoughts?

Did your hanger bolt go back on cause mine didn't had to remove it? Should I be worried?
