so i took my car to get an air fuel controler put on and to have it tuned. it deff needs the tune thanks to bills california car killer tune he has on his turbo kits . i also have a port and polished head over sized valves and duel valve springs custom 3" exhaust with no cat and hahns stage 2 turbo system. so it should make some serious power for only running 8-9ibs of boost. so ill keep you guys informed.

Very nice. Keep us posted. Where are you located at? Whose valves, retainers and springs
did you use. Did you measure the heads air efficency after the port? Can't wait for the dyno, keep us posted please.

im located in san diego and no i didnt measure the air efficiency, i didnt even think to do so. as far as al my head work goes i got my valves and springs from werks. im actually heading over there now for the tuning portion so ill let you know the results
ok so a little update on the air fuel controler getting put on my car. the car aparently has both a map sensor and a maf sensor and the and they have to figure out which one the air fuel controler to run off of. from my understanding its either one or the other so ill let you guys know which one it turns out to be.

On a stock tune, it uses both....its called dynamic airflow...a lot of predictive stuff.
but if its a hahn tune, it was tuned by vector....he uses a custom operating system

its exciting to see the new options and ((( tune ))) talk............YAYYYYYYY!!...............
waiting for allllllllll the details !!! - i didn't think you could tune over it - that it was locked ????
good luck and keep us posted !!

so what does that mean for me? im assumeing like mallard said because i have it reflashed its running off of one or the other which is what they are currently trying to figure out. the electronics guy doing it worked at AEM for 10 years so there's no doubt in my mind that hes already figured it out. but i really like the input guys ECUs and wireing aren't my thing so your help is appreciated.

Stock it's not running off one or the other, it's a combination of both (as far as I understand). But with the reflash they may have disabled the dynamic airflow tables after a certain RPM so it runs solely off the MAF. This is the first I heard of Vector running a custom OS, but it shouldn't matter. If you still are running with the stock MAP sensor it has no idea what boost is.
So can any of the Hahn guys answer if they have to swap a new MAP sensor with their kit?
I'm still running the stock MAP and MAF. When I talked to Vector they told me that they used their own custom Op. system. I could tell that was all the info I was going to get from him.

I asked Carl this a while back out of curiosity. He replied that their were no new or auxillary sensors required to operate the turbo.

ok so they figured the afc out no problem contrary to what the tech rep. at rpi told me. that guy told me it cant be done because the car wasn't designed for it... last time i check it was a universal part . the only thing is my fuel pump cant push enough fuel at high rpms for the mods i have so, im in process of getting a walbro fuel pump and a fuel regulator (still on order). so sorry about the wait for the dyno sheet but im pretty sure ill make over 300 to the wheels no problem. which is pretty sweet seeing i still only run 8ibs of boost . ill throw a picture in too the red head and valve cover plus my black intercooler piping looks mean!

He might've gotten confused with the GXP. AFC won't work on a GXP.
