I have decided on the stage 4 clutch. After spending some valuable time on the phone with Bill Hahn we decided tio go with the Clutchmasters Stage 4. I will not have to worry about this clutch not holding!. There will be a learning curve on launching but that's half the fun. I will provide feedback once i get it installed next Thursday. I hope to visit the dragstrip soon after a short breakin period. Thnaks Bill for all the help and the great turbo kit. Keep on boosting!

A friend has a cm stage 4 on his awd talon, he launches at 6000rpm, spins all 4 tires and the clutch grabs like no other. Pedal pressure is almost stockish too.
The bad things he noticed was he had to launch at higher rpm then normal for some reason, the clutch also made some funny noises at low rpm. No big deal imo.

Well, I had the Fidanza billet flywheel and Spec stage II+ clutch and pressure plate installed. I'm not ready to recommend it at this time. I have a vibration that started after the install. I've been in contact with Spec and they feel it's not their equipment and it's either a bad install or the noise & vibration are 'normal'. It best not be normal - or I'm pi$$ed!

So - I ordered and have received a clutch/pressure plate for a GXP. I'm going to see if it will bolt up to my stock flywheel. If it does the next step will be to drop the transmission down and check the Spec installation. If there is no obvious install problem (loose bolts, wrong bolt pattern, etc) I am going to assume that the Fidanza/Spec combo is a problem and it's coming out, to be replaced with the GXP clutch.

Madmods, that was a long answer - but that's my status.
