I am looking to order a Clutchmasters Stage 3 and would like to do the install myself. Has anyone tackled this job? If so how about some pointers or any information you may have. Thanks.

I doesn't look difficult. The biggest problem is getting the car high enough to drop the tranny out. This may be the deciding factor if it can be done in your own garage.

Here's the rack I went with. Raises the car 22 inches and will fit in a standard garage. Comes with a low rise tranny jack. If you're interested, PM me for the vendor info since they aren't supporting.

This is only hearsay, but I think you have to drop the diff to get the driveshalf out.

You do not have to drop the diff. There is a large bolt on the front of the diff that holds it in place. You need to support the diff and remove that bolt. This allows you to twist the front of the diff down and remove the drive shaft.

For information sake, a full four post lift fits in a garage with an 8' ceiling. You bring the car up about 48" and use a creeper chair. It is actually better than standing under a lift. The only problem could be the door rails. The other problem is that a decent lift is about $3,000. I have 9'-6" ceilings and I park the solstice under another car in winter.
