I used the Werks radiator and the stock cooling fans in my conversion. My motor is an LS2 and I used an aftermarket pressure plate and clutch with the T56 transmission. You don't have to use the stock Chevy parts.

Be careful with the parts. I used the list and bought several parts that were not needed. I also found that several needed parts were not listed.

The LS7 crate engine comes with clutch and pressure plate.

If you use the Corvette fan, you will also need the ~$100 control module to make the multi-speed functionality work. I recommend modifying and using the original fan.

Another piece of incorrect information in the article is the need for a spacer between the engine and bell housing. They had some extra hardware inside the bell that made the spacer necessary, but that was not mentioned in the article.
