Well, I did a quick search for "mallett" and "pitbull" on SF and couldn't find any related articles (even though this information is about three months old), so decided to post:

http://mallettcars.com/news-4-30-07-pitbull.htm

I also see Mallett has gone to 900 HP on their Solstice mods. Crazy!

Its a nice for sure. However that is the best hood yet. That is the kind of hood I like not the RK sport one. Wonder how just that hood would look on a stocker.

We need someone to make a hood like this for our car.

Sorry for the bump....but I need some support in making a hood like this.

Smokin, what do you think we can do?? Think we should get a thread started for Norm to make a hood like this??

I think I read somewhere in a thread that Norm said he could do this if he get a certain amount of interest and/or certain number of buyers to help offset the cost. I could be wrong but I think I read that. If this hood get made I will buy it just not in the mean time but I can wait 6 months to a year but thats me. If we can generate enough interest to get a production peice going I all for it. However concerning that hood its made for a wide body kit so I also heard that the hood will need some tweaking.

meh on the hood, it's the only real piece i can live without I REALLY want the widebody kit with that front fascia. Doubt there will ever be that kind of interest though.

I'd prefer a hood with the vents like the elise or evo. I really need to exhaust some hot air.

I talked to Norm today. He is going to make a hood, just not a Pitbull replica hood. He said it will be a functioning vent style hood. Thats pretty much all the info I got.

Looks like a cartoon to me. I'm quite happy with the stock look. She totally needs a v8 though. Tired of passing people while emitting a 4 banger sound.

I would think that if they were even remotely serious about selling it at that price point they would have at least made a one off to show it off a bit.

IDKFA is correct, they aren't building it. If there was enough interest, it would've been on display at SEMA. It was abandoned. So we have to be patient for Norms Fiberglass fine work. Maybe when he has all of his other projects wrapped up, he'll tackle this one.
