I think it is a great idea to include both of the Pontiac sports cars in some events, although I'd probably get schizophrenic about which car to take if offered the problem of which one of mine to bring.

Fiero owners - beware the GXP - they are what the Fiero should/could have been. Their stock handling is very, very good, and they have bags of power.

Solstice owners - beware the many modified Fieros (particularly the 1988 models). Many have very significantly enhanced power through turbo or V8 transplant, and they have better traction than you do. The chassis is also very good (but in my experience needs modification to equal the stock Solstice GXP)

I would love to attend a slalom or any other sort of competition, for that matter, where both cars were running. Could be a lot of fun.

What and where is the KSC? I'd love to see that sort of competition. I doubt I'd participate as I've set both cars up for street handling and with the Solstice particularly, the heavier front bar would probably make it push too much in a slalom. I'd be right there watching, though.

vcmc puts it on, it's a two-day autox with a shootout to determine an overall winner at the end. really fun event!

Kumho Super Challenge

all the info pertains to last year's event currently, but the site will probably be updated in the coming months with this year's details.

I think the Daytona thing is looooong overdue and could be the beginning of a beautiful relationship, new friendships, and experiences.

Spread the word, and looking forward to meeting everyone and seeing some great solstices !

I think it's great to see the other Pontiac two-seater clubs reaching out to the Kappa community. If I remember right the Daytona show is considered one of the Fiero's more popular shows, and since it's held inside the speedway grounds, other brands of cars are in attendance.
