Should we plan on meeting at the Ground Round again Friday nite? Or something else trip any one's fancy?

Just wondering why you didn't call this a "Four Door"?

That would really make them wonder.

Just an FYI--
The Packers are playing the Browns Saturday night, August 15, so if you plan on staying at the Comfort Inn, or anywhere around Green Bay, you might want to book soon. There are still rooms at the Comfort in, but they are going fast--I talked to the women at the inn today. An aside--the rate goes up by $50 from Friday to Saturday too! Thinking I might shop around for something not in Green Bay, but close!

Well, did some checking around, the Settle Inn in Kaukauna is sold out, every hotel I checked in the Appleton/Neenah area while not sold out, is over 200/nite for Sat nite.
If you book a room at the Comfort Inn online, it showed 85 for Fri and 129 for Sat, so the corporate website isn't reflecting the Packers in town compared to the hotels further away!

If you head out toward Kewaunee there are rooms available at better rates--about 35 miles from Green Bay. We got the last room at a place in Algoma and the rate is $64 per night--we are going to do a bit of vacationing too! There were a couple--not many-- other rooms at different places in the same price range in Algoma and more in Kewaunee.

Are we metting for Dinner? If so, we are in--what is the address of that Ground Round?

Good find!!

Ground Round:
1010 Cameron Way
Neenah, WI 54956-9807

Coming from the South on US41, exit Breezewood Lane in Neenah (1st Neenah exit), hang a right, then a left at the first light, left at the bottom of the hill, run alongside 41 north for 1/4 - 1/2 mile, GR is on the right.

Coming from the north on US 41, exit JJ, hang a left at the bottom of the ramp, then right on Green Bay Rd, through the round about, continuing on GB road, GR is on the left, 1st left at the turn protected by guard rails...not sure why the guard rails... maybe someone drove off into the creek...

We had planned on stopping in at the winery before we head back to Green Bay, so, depending on how many peoples are there we might cruise on by.

Maybe we need to sneak out of Door via the shortcut over to Algoma
