In case you have been reading this thread, another reason why I will stay away from GM

I posted this, so thought I would let the north IL and south WI folks know:

I am in the S.E. part of Wisconsin, just south of the Milwaukee area. I have tools coming out of my ears and a lift to put your Kappa 4 feet in the air, and yes I know how to lift it correctly and safely. I am willing to help out anyone most anytime with their car. I have been working on cars for a hobby for 40 years. Just PM me and and I'll give you my cell number, let's do some wrenchin'

We should do a SE WI Mod Meet like the guys have done out in southern Maryland... Invite DDM, JPM, and other vendors to come and join the fun. Really spruce up our rides!!!

The more the merrier I say. Along my point about discounts, the more people that we have the more likely we are to getting manufacturers to show up. Plus the more fun it would be.

Wonder if there would be any chance of renting the recently ABANDONED Saturn Dealership on HWY 20 (that just opened last year) or the old Bob Tolkan building on 27th St for the event? Plenty of parking and indoors incase the weather turns bad.

Maybe a dealership would sponsor it and allow us on their lot.


Just some thoughts..... I agree, the more the merrier and the more likely we would get the vendors to show!!!!

You guys have probably already talked to them, but I put a bug in DDM & JPM's ears about coming to WI for a mod meet back in June.

So if you haven't gotten in touch with em...they're waiting for ya!!!

I'd come up...I want JPM to do my door handles!
