Hey there my favorite WI friends!

Where is the Penguin route?

I hope to make it to a few more WI runs in 2009.

The Penguin starts in Fond du Lac, then wanders thru Kettle Moraine ending up in Manitowoc at the Penquin drive in for burgers
Route stays east of Lake Winnebago the whole time.

For 2009, the SCCA National Championship Runoffs will be moving to Road America in Elkhart Lake. Unfortunately, they are scheduled for the same weekend as our annual Dells extravaganza.

I know we're not going to be able to talk the SCCA into changing the date, so what is everyone's preference?

1. Move the Dells forward or back a week so we can attend both?

2. Schedule an excursion for the race fans to Road America on whatever days the T2 and SSB races are scheduled? (Road America is about 105 miles from the Dells)

I'm trying to gauge interest here to see if we have enough people wanting to attend the Runoffs.

changing the Penquin, not a problem. Northwoods trip---great idea. We are usually in the Eagle River area then so tying it in with Minocqua would work for us. We will just try and make whatever we can. Hard to think about 2009 already!!!!

Take a look at my poor sol. Got blasted the week after the Dells. Now I'm getting raped by the dealer who is on their 3rd attempt to fix it!
