it sucked getting $%$%$--ed!! now being raped by the dealer. Just got off the phone with them, said its not perfect, but 100% better than when it was bad.

I think I have to go throw up now.

Do you ever get together in Western WI, say for a Great River Road loop around Lake Pepin, Alma, etc?

Yep, altho' the MN group masterminds those runs, since they're closer than most of us-but with a new WISol over in the area... I can see us doing more runs over there-great roads!!!

Welcome aboard our new CF friend! We (NSSC~ Northern Sky and Solstice Club) did two trips around Pepin last year. We also made a trip to CF and did the Leine's tour. It was fun! Got great pics at Leine's of the cars too!

Hey everyone,

We can fit in a "Bluffs Run" east of Lake Pepin any time. We have found some new roads to add to the route south of Alma.

We can pick a weekend in April, or July, or whatever works for the WISols and NSSC.

lets go

Odd!! Very very odd-are you using the msn browser? Sounds like it's not liking smf
If you have firefox, or regular IE, try that instead.

I would be interested in a MODS meet or a Brunch Run/Solstice meet somewhere in Southeastern WI or Northern IL. Anyone aware of one happening? It would be nice to meet up with other owners. Not only to talk but look at what they have done as far as Mods.

Thanks!!!

If the Spring melt is kind to the Lake Geneva area this year, that may be a possibility in either late April or late May.

NASSM 09 in Colorado is third weekend in June, so we could possibly also do early June.

The season is so short, we always start in late April, and have run into mid November, weather permitting!

We also have a run we've done a few times in the Barneveld area. Sweet roads!!

Hwy 78 redesign

Sniff..

Hwy 78 from Prairie du Sac to (looks like) Merrimac is scheduled for resurfacing/reconstruction in 2009, according to the DOT website.

We were out this weekend in the truck (no, Tweety is still hibernating...) and saw that from the split of CTH Z and 78 north on 78, it looks like the road will be massively de-curved, at least for the first few tight corners.

So, we must all take a moment of silence for the soon-to-be-late fun section of 78. Driving the long way home from the ferry won't be the same.

Also, people planing runs might have to deal with that, too. Not sure when destruction will start or end, all the DOT says is '2009'.
