I went on the NEO SOS 3-29-08 run and it kicked butt..

My first question 1) How many people from Pittsburgh Area ie western PA knew about this run?

2nd) Did you know that the roads are less than an hour and a half from Pittsburgh?

3rd) Would anyone be interested in running them on a regular basis, like monthly...

My parents live right in the middle of the run and so I definitely want to run them about once a month...

1) I knew about .... was listed to go and had to bow out at the last minute. (been to the last two)

2) Drove that very route just a few weeks back - IN THE SNOW!

3) Got some pretty great roads right around here .... so there's really no need to travel 2 hours to run THOSE on a regular basis

4) I have roads that I run on a regular basis right near my work .... in a half hour I can get my heart pumping, tires squealing, and the wind blowing in my hair AND STILL be back to work in plenty of time! Then, if I haven't had my fill ..... I've got MORE that I can run AFTER work. .... some days it can take me 2 hours to drive home ( and home is less than half a mile from work )

We were supposed to go also, but my father has had some medical problems just diagnosed, so we had to skip it this year. For us, it is a 3 hour drive to OH.

We've got some beautiful roads over here in the Laurel Highlands. We'd love to show them off anytime!

Is anyone going on the T2TR

I am definitely going on that run....

What do we have coming up in the Pittsburgh Area?

You mean Presque Isle Penisula...

Yeah, I have to find some good roads up here that meet the following criteria...

1) Smooth (kind of hard with how winter tears the roads up here up)
2) Twisty

Nearly all of us are going to the MECCA Tour (Plant Tour) the following Friday. Leaving on Thursday the 8th. Can't afford back to back weekends away and have done T2TR before.

Pittsburgh Area right now the only thing scheduled is Vintage Grand Prix. But, as soon as I get some time (if ever) I'm going to try and schedule something with the local dealer and have a run down here. Life is just VERY busy right now Way TOO MANY irons in the fire and I can't toss any of them aside!

Is there still time to Register for the MECCA Tour?
