3rd ANNUAL SKYLINE DRIVE CRUISE - OCTOBER 18, 2008

Hey Everyone,

Another successful year. Perfect weather, perfect ride and great friends. The only thing that would make this ride even better next year is if I had those DOORS!!! I've been dreaming about those darned DOORS!!!

Thanks Susan for an awesome time.

Got home last night around 7:30, after leaving Waynesboro at 4AM - cleaned up little Ruthie put her away, unpacked, repacked and then crashed - had to be back up at 5AM this morning to head back up for another work week in Pittsfield, MA.

I'll post some PIC's this evening after I get to the hotel.

Oh and just in case anyone is heading up Route 8 in Connecticut this week - Smokies are plentiful -
Yep Little Ruthie and I finally got nabbed $259 to the State Police Xmas fund in my own backyard on a road where I know all the hideouts?
- must have been the adrenaline rush I was feeling after seeing all my new Kappa Friends in Virginia and all my Kappa Buddies in New Jersey on the way back for Brunch - well now I guess I have to go to rehab and get back to driving like an old fart again.

Fantastic! We had a great time. Looking forward to the Williamsburg trip next month! Moms place for dinner and breakfast was great. Sorry we could not make the final dinner in Waynesboro, but will try for that next year. And thanks everyone who posted and will post pics. They are great too.

Thanks for another great run. Val and I had a great time both before and after the run. A special thanks to SMARTIN, PILOT T AND WIFE, AND SKYJACK AND WIFE for a superb job in making this event one of the best yet.

Skyline was awesome and Barb and I had a wonderful time. Thanks to Sue, Skyjack, and Pilot T for organizing this event. Everyone was so friendly and made us feel welcome. It was great seeing others that we've come to know and can truly call friends. Photos to come.

Thanks Smartin for all your hard work in organizing this event. Pam and I had a great time especially meeting you and some of the others. It was such a big event that it was hard to meet very many but hopefully will meet more in Williamsburg.

Hey everyone! I'm working on grabing as much of the pictures that are being shared so I can create a video of the event. The higher the quality of picture/video the better. If you took video of the event and are willing to share it, I'll add it to the DVD I'm making. Please feel free to send me a private message if you have a location that I can pull the high-res photos from. Depending on the amount of pictures and vid I can get, will determine how long it will take me to put it together. Once completed, I'll have the DVD's available to send out to people. I can support about 1 hour of High quality viewing pleasure on a single DVD; approx 8GB of data. Please feel free to forward anything you have if you would like me to use it.

What do I do with these rocks?
I kept seeing signs "watch for falling rocks" so I got a bunch of falling rocks, but don't know where to turn them in for my watch, I really need a new watch.
