Just ice in the trees.

Thanks Everyone who braved the elements and participated. It was a great day, very foggy, but with great Solstice and Sky friends, it was totally worth it!

Thanks to SKYJACK (Jacque & Pauline) for arranging the dinner and breakfast at Mom's Country Kitchen in Front Royal, VA. And Pilot T ( John & Bernell) for arranging the Saturday night dinner in Waynesboro, VA!

You guys rock!!!

Well, I guess I'll just have to kick myself for whimping out. My wife was disappointed we didn't go up since she was working last year and was really looking forward to seeing everyone again.

Thanks everyone for the wonderful weekend. It's so good to get together with the best of friends. The weather wasn't all that good but we made the best of it and had a lot of fun. I have never seen so many peaple get back in there cars so fast after the first photo stop. It was only 38. The ice on the trees close to the top of the mountain was beutiful.
Susan -- You did it again. You brought together a bunch of crazy peaple to have a good time, and it worked. Thanks for putting this together for us. You are the best.

Here is a link to some of the pictures Pauline and I took. hope you like them.

Thanks again for another great time. We definitely look forward to next years run. It just keeps getting more interesting every year be it rain, sunshine, fog or what ever. The best part is just getting together with great friends.

Lets be glad we had our run on saturday. We just got word that Skyline Drive was closed today because of ice and snow. The farthest they would let you go in was Dickey Ridge. (5 miles) They had to try to clear the roads so peaple could get out from the top.

A Big Thanks!!

Lady Fang and I would like to thank all of our VMSSC friends for giving us a great welcome and a day full of fun.

Anytime you need a sweep, we'll be happy to come.

Looking forward to next year's events.

When we left Waynesboro the whole drive from 33 south on the Skyline was visible from the valley. But we decided to take I-81 back to Front Royal. Stopped at the Shenandoah Vineyards- GREAT WINES and fantastic hospitality. Then toured Hwy 17 Stopping a 3 Foxes- again very pleased with the hospitality and wines. Stopped in Middleburg for some French Potato Soup at Annies and on to Leesburg.

Pathway now finished, so my job here in VA finished- now for some serious Tysons Corners shopping!

Again Thanks to Susan, Jack&Pauline,& John for planning a fantastic Cruise!

And to all others for

Sorry to miss many of you we hoped to see

See you all next year!

It was great seeing you both! You always make our events so special! See you at the next one!

This picture epitomizes this run. We saw 6 deer and they were all pretty docile.
