I found this over on the GTO forum and thought I would post for anyone interested. I will be going to most of the events in Northern Va. if anyone wants to join me. The Summit Point events are great you can take a grill and cook out on the side of the track.

I will be driving to Atlanta on May 9 th to see the Pro run, then lots of events after that on a smaller scale. Going to be a very busy summer. We still have not heard if Wall N.J is on or off, Formula D says it's on.

Cool, if we have a free weekend, I'd goto a few. Can we participate in any of them?

I joined the site, it is to say the least a bit, err brash (lots of profanity) and they think we drive chic cars. But there are several amateur events anyone can drive in, there are several people on there with 400hp Civics. Seems like the Fast and Furious crowd.

yep. lots and lots of kids. But it's the largest community of va-based auto enthusiasts [very loose term for a lot of them] so you can keep up on what's going on. Don't get me wrong, ricer type activities are typically frowned upon and there are a number of cool guys(and girls) and there are a lot of meets full of mature people... there are just LOTS of <20 year old kids who saw Tokyo Drift

Autocross.US - Home is the another va-based site (obviously for autocrossing) and has a slightly more mature clientèle.

yep, just sign up. It's usually less stringent than entering a SCCA event (there are some beaters around here.)

I'm 'ok' save the pride. It could be pretty bad but i need to get the code scanned to know if it's what i think it is.
