Looks like I missed the best part of the weekend - Sunday
Once again Joe and Dee have pulled it off. You know they have it down pat when one of the neighboors walks up to you (You are the only one there, since everyone else is out on a run) and ask you to let Joe know that they aren't going anywhere the rest of the evening and their entire driveway and yard is available for parking.
Dave and Randy, what can I say about these guys, I had to tow my car down (don't ask) Friday afternoon. Dave and Randy spent most of Saturday morning fixing my car, and then most of the evening modifying it.
They do have some new stuff hitting the market soon, save your change you will want it.
Joe from JPM, thanks for the seat fix, very - very comfortable. And you had some great stuff there as well. I will be getting in touch about what I am looking at getting done.
Joe JR, once again was the Johnny on the spot, he never did get a chance to get to the challange of cleanning my car, but we worked out a deal.
To everyone who was there it was great seing old (make that known) friends and meeting new friends.
Def - you were there in spirit, and your ears should have been burning.

Thank you Joe, Joe Jr and Dee - you guys are so warm and welcoming it makes leaving hard every time. Joe was the ninja blinker installer. Mine was done before I even realized he was doing them. Dee is one of the most hospitable hosts I have ever met, to open her entire home up to friends/strangers without a second though, you ROCK girl!! I need to find a cool chick like you!! Darktech, one of these mod meets we will actually get the T-bolt clamps installed on my car.
Dave and Randy from DDM works - Thank you. Forget "on a dime" my car stops before the damn dime. I am very happy with the product and the service from these two fellows. On a side note Dave and I think along the same wavelength on almost everything so he is a cool guy in my book!!
Joe PM (aka JPM) - As always it was a pleasure!! My ride home was one of the most comfortable I have had in a few months. It's like a brand new seat!! I hope your sewing finger heals up from all the belt loop installs.
Smartin and CTYankee it was fun playing with your seats. I must admit, I had a bit more fun with Smartin's though
Midlife - thank you for the fog cutter, and lip smacker and whatever other tiki drinks you mixed up. You are suma cum laude in tiki mixology my friend. I need to remember what the one with benadictine was called, i think that was my favorite. By the way you leather tulip is quite nice!!
To everyone else that was there, the food was great, the company as always was even better! Put me down for Snapple iced tea for MD mod meet #5
PS what was better, chuckdoc's or Antonios, or Randy's burnout? Maybe we need to start a poll!!
heh heh. I had a great time everyone. I'm still here but will be leaving shortly. Thank you to everyone and had a lot of fun. Of course, thank you Joe and Dee for the great hospitality!

I wanted to express my thanks to all of you at the So. MD mod meet. I arrived with my blushing (Wicked Red) debutante and immediately felt welcomed. Many thanks to all who showed me around and introduced me to the group and to the cars. Seeing all the mods, I immediately started my wishlist! While I was there we were dubbed Wicked Sol, but it was already taken on the listserve, so we graciously accept the abbreviated monacker.
I look forward to seeing you all in the spring. Hopefully she won't be as innocent the next time you see her!
Who the heck was a spy and told Go-N-Def what happened? How did he know? Critterman even tried to get the little girl next door (about 7 y/o) to wash the car for a bag of necco wafers, a lollypop and some wax lips. She kicked him in the shin and said she did not talk to strangers.
Critterman said he would try again later.

Come on Joe, post my burn out so they do not think Antonio won. Does anyone know how to get about 700 miles of tire rubber off the rear wheel wells. It now has become vulcanized.

Just show all the rubber to Nancy, she will find a way.

I do not think she would be happy. Is Joe still asleep? He must be really burned out on car forums and us. I think he is probably logged into a yoga new age meditation forum.
I know he will come back to us soon but if he starts chanting and taking ballet lessons and burns a show tune CD I will start to worry.
Dee and I can't thank everyone enough for coming out to our place and making history on this meet. 34 Cars, 24 Solstices, 7 Skys, 2 Corvettes and a S2000 (JPM). I'm still finishing a mod for Smartin (engine cover). I'll type more when I have time

Joe,
Thanks to you and Dee for a nice day! I wish I could have stayed for the run, but time was getting away from me and chittlin's were bugging me on the cell!
It was wonderful meeting everyone and being able to put faces to names now!

Sounds like you all had a great meet....Joe is a great guy for all his help and for putting this together. I am organizing one now for the Northeast in January and know how much work it is to put it together. Kudos deepbluegxp (Joe)

Can't wait to see the video. By the way, a plastic spackle knife always works for me.
