My goodness, I can't believe this! I had the bought the second Solstice in Calvert County (or so I was told), and I later moved away to Fort Lauderdale. Hell, I've been down in South Florida for over two years now. I had no idea, that in my adsence, there has been organized Solstice rides, let alone Solstice MEETS, two miles away from my old house! My folks still have their place on Mill Creek, on the Drum Point side, but 1700 miles is a looooong drive. Sure, a Kappa meet would be awesome, and I've missed Mom's cooking, PLUS getting to visit my old dog, hell, I might just have to see if the boss will let me off work for a week....

Welcome to the forum, that would be a long drive, we love to have you at the meet, bring your family if you like. The Oct 13th is a Gov't holiday, that is why we picked that weekend. You could fly in cheaper than a drive. The last mod meet started on a Thursday and lasted until Sunday. Give us some info on your Sol. Color/Miles/Mods. Did you get the recall done to the rear diff?

Joe,

It is 99% that I will _not_ be making the long drive from Texas for this meet. I'll just have to make it up y'all's way some other time.

Flights are inexpensive compared to driving

Yes, but I will be in South Carolina that following Monday at DDMWorks! I just can't swing the extra day to do both.

I will be there though I will eventually have to sober up enough to drive home at night, since I will go home to DC. Hmmm....baked Mac and Cheese?

Deep,

If you know of anyone interetested in a like new Magnaflow Catback for the GXP, let me know. I would be more than willing to bring it up to your place. It would also be a good excuse to meet the gang.

Greg
