I never saw this until just now. If you had a plan, why did you put me on point? I would have done this if I had known.
I thought it was in the text message I sent? I did mention it briefly, but Spiky seemed to be all about the food yesterday! I was a little disappointed once 1003 Park Boulevard turned out to be a shopping center Regardless, it was a great day and Reed got some really cool pictures. And FYI I hate to be lead so I am always willing to step aside and let someone else take point.
Not bad for a day that was thrown together at the last minute.

Oh, we had fun. I just felt you might have been disappointed that I didn't run your route. I just didn't know about it. You did get some nice pictures!

Not disappointed at all, wanted to drive my car, see a beautiful sunset and hang out with good friends. My goal for the day was accomplished. Besides, Reed and I took Ocean Parkway home. We also went around the water tower twice because we missed our turn once and then Reed decided to go around again so I followed - I got a little dizzy but it was fun!

Reminder: After our diner meeting this Sunday, the Massapequa Unit PAL is having their 7th Annual Charity Car Show, with proceeds going to ACDS (Assn. for Children with Down Syndrome). The show is from 10 am-4pm at Parking Field M10 behind the Massapequa Train Station. The flyer says: coolest car trophies, cool prizes, raffles, vendor tables, food & beverages. No registration or fee to attend. Would be fun to get together with the cars, and it's close to the diner location. If we plan to go, my friend, who is one of the event planners, could probably save spots for us. The weather looks great for Sunday.....let me know if you can go!

I noticed right after I posted that Sarge already mentioned the Massapequa car show I'm promoting for this Sunday. Where is everybody going this weekend?

A lot of us are going on the Skylands Run in Mount Arlington, NJ. It is a really gorgeous run and was a BLAST last year. Good luck at the car shows guys!

We did drive by our turn twice, but who ever said we missed it? Do yourself a favor and never follow me onto the Bethpage Parkway!
