Congrats to everyone who entered the car show. We had a great showing of Sols and Skys today. The judges have spoken, who says you have to have a GXP to be a winner!! Congrats Pep on your first place tie with Paul. Sarge, Rich and Ivan all got little trophies too, LOL. Nice to meet you Karen, hope to see you at more events. Chris I have your plaque, god hope I spelled that right, yours came out really good. I'll be in East Northport on Wednesday or I can hold on to it until the next diner meeting. Hope everyone gets dried off after our wet afternoon. We are going out to celebrate Peps big win. Now lets keep the N/A bashing down to a minimum at least for a little while OK!!! ~ Paula
That was so much fun until the end when it got cold and rainy-but seeing ALL those tropies awarded to Sols & Skys was worth it. A few pics, none of the winners was just waiting to see what happend and then just left. Karen really nice to meet 'cha. Paul, that made the ride home OK having that trophy yes??
It was nice to see the old crew again finally. And to meet part of the crew I've never met before. AND the really new member, skyhighny.
It was a really enjoyable day and I hope to see everyone again before the first frost.
So Pep and Paul tied for first and beat out sarge???? How did he take it? I TOLD you Paul, it was the visor covers with that unique embroidery on it. I told you so.

Congrats Pep...your car was looking really nice. It just shows that all of your invisible mods paid off. LOL Sometimes its just takes that beautiful intake by GMPP. I guess having a fire extinguisher, first aid kit, and manuals didn't matter much Congrats also to Sarge, Ivan, Paul, Rich, and Bob. That was a really great show and it was nice to see everyone.

Thank you to everyone and it was really great meeting you all. To be honest, I was nervous about going there by myself (and of course being a female) you all made me feel really welcome and part of your crew, for that I am especially grateful. I look forward to seeing you all again. Maybe captree/OBI next weekend?
