We put more shear forces between our tires and the road from dead stop accelerations. When was the last time you peeled out and sent rocks flying at 60MPH? So we "rip up" the roads more at low speeds than high.

I'm all about 0 to 60. I rip up the roads within the legal confines, before I ever have a chance to break a law.

I guess I could get pulled over for reckless driving. And if someone next to me wanted to test their car against mine, we could both be gotten for drag racing.

Are there moving voilations specifically targeted at WOT take offs? If so, I break the law in my minivan every time I drive it. Zero to sixty in a little over 30 seconds at WOT!

Are two cars necessary for them to call it a drag race? Lot's of people compete against time. If two cars are necessary, sounds like a loophole to me.

Hey Sarge...I forgot to tell you yesterday, the dealerships now have the complete 2008 Pontiac catalog/brochure. I took one from my dealership yesterday and it is really nice and has a lot of pages. It's a good freebie to grab for your collection...I got the last one or else i would have gotten you one also.

Is there any data regarding GMRoadster that you could provide before the meeting? It might allow people to better digest the material and show up to the meeting with poignant questions.

Or it could spark an uncontrolled on-line discussion, the likes of which we would never recover!

Just a thought.

i believe the term for an aggressive take off which you cn recieve a summons for is unsafe start. i know because i got a ticket for it

What's up guys, how was your day.I gave Paula my car today to drive to work because i took hers in to get a remote start installed, then while I was waiting for the installer to call me when he was finished,I raked and mowed her lawn. When she got home in my car she looked like a million bucks. And then I thanked god it was in one piece...
