It looks like he`s selling another one for the same price. Don`t ask me how. He also just sold a CAI for the N/A for $150!!, also from GM. Maybe a big truck tipped over in Bakerfield CA???

Here is a picture of the wheels I'm trying to get.

Unfortunately, Tor from Dayton Wire Wheels tells me that there is a clearance to caliper problem that they have not yet been able to work out on the Kappas and the new Miatas.

Wah! Is it me? Why does everything I want to accomplish come so hard?

Other brands may bolt up but still won't work, he said.

Oddly enough, they make an adaptor that will let me use real knock-offs like the ones in the picture.

Now I'm finding custom Sols and Skys with wire wheels.

Check out Danny Whitfield's site.

I'm not a fan of these wire wheels on the Solstice or Sky. JMHO.

Rich without getting too technical here, it has to do with whether or not you're subject to the AMT...I'll explain it to you (and anyone else who might be interested) on Sunday, it might save you a few bucks after all...

The AMT kills me every year. I`m one of the millions of victims affected.

In that case, you WILL get a benefit from the sales tax. I'll fill you in on Sunday.

Yeah, what do you think of the Cobra and Austin Healey grills and the two-tone paint?

BTW, is that hot rod amazing or what?

Update on Intruder: Got the car back from the dealer last night. I have to bring it back AGAIN as soon as stabilizer bushings come in that were ordered. Somehow, my front stabilizer bushings/links and brackets are bad causing a swooshing sound over road contours. I also had the vent tube hose resecured, as it was leaking from the last time they fixed the vent tube. Also, the convertible top tabs were installed to prevent further ripping. The part numbers on those are 19152963 and 19152964. The detail reads "install new "B" pillar weather strips with updated roof contact pads." They still will not perform the recall until its posted to my VIN- very, very annoying.
