LOL That center stacked exhaust is the one he made for me. Mine is at Norm's and he made one extra to show there...that's the one going on my car!
Hey Shpiky!
Did you do the instrument cluster change yourself or did you have someone do it? I wondered how much time and difficulty, or money, it took to do it.
Chris, Mack pontiac threw a mean Gxp fully loaded brand new 2008 at me for 27,000,Gxp's are a dime a dozen rite now, Roslyn Pontiac has a red one, and Arnold Pontiac had three not to mention Riverhead had some also. They are not as rare as everyone thinks, like when we bought them. The dealerships aren't selling them so the inventory is plentiful and some of the deals they are offering to get rid of them is great.
Ivan, I was just on Hahns website checking out their turbo systems and I'm interested in what they have to offer, I'm trying to see what's my best route, whether I should pull the trigger on a GXP or work with what I have, trading in mine for a GXP is the easy route but I will really hate to lose all that money just to gain a turbo, and considering my car is almost paid off is such a waste. Are you totally happy with your turbo and do you consider it totally reliable? The supercharger is out only because I don't want to hear the constant whistle all the time and the turbo is more quiet.Your honest opinion of what you think of the hahn system since you have it will definitely help. Please no jokes guys I'm serious about it....I'm going to make a decision at the end of the year of what I want to do.
Thanks Ivan for pointing that out!!! Yes Gino I did consider the supercharger...

Yeah Joe I saw that mean GXP sitting in front of Mack Pontiac's lot yesterday.

Gino, the supercharger doesn't whistle like a dragster supercharger, but it does have a faint whistle to it, I listened to a few cars at captree that had superchargers on them and you can hear it up close,of coarse they weren't on a solstice so I can't really say, but I think you will hear it at idle.Even Rich's friend Ted that has a supercharger on his viper I was able to hear a whistle when he parked his car next to me and Ivan a while back.I'm not sure if you can hear it inside the car.

Ivan, I talked to them about that car back in February, The Sarge told me about it, he said he saw it on the internet and they still have it and they can't sell it.
Well today turned not as expected but well recieved anyway. Rich and I went to the marina where I originally bought my boat in Patchougue and had it stored free for the winter. Our intention was to put the name on and find out the launching date. When I last spoke to the owner about a week and a half ago he stated it would be ready after May 1st. We began looking for it but could not find it among the many boats that were on land in that very small marina. I went inside the office and saw the mechanic who told me he had everything done to my boat and was about an hour away from finishing it and it was in the water already. You think they may have called me and given me a heads up. So we decided to put the name on it and drive it to my marina in Lindenhurst since today was going to be the better of the days to come. Here are just a couple of pictures with the name on. There is some space left on the bottom where I was going to put the hailing port but the fonts were to big so I will have it re-done and put on shortly. So my boat is in the water and back home. Rich will have his new boat in the water this Thusday. Thanks for all your help Rich.

What's up with the factory tour work day?? We saw that Ivan, Rich and Sarge were already signed up. Somehow Ivan I don't see your wife doing heavy lifting or using power tools to build a car!!! Good luck with that!!!! ~Paula

I've been to Black Cat and picked them out already. I wanted to know if you did it yourself and felt confident in the disassembly/reassembly process or whether you had it done by a shop somewhere.
