It was great spending the day with you guys. Ivan you are a rip ...... you had us laughing really hard during judging, nothing like a good laugh followed by a FIRST PLACE WIN!!

WHich bring me to Sarge......... OK Sarge an NA and an secondary after thought came in first, there goes your theory!

Hey I always knew GTO guys had good taste!

But all kidding aside, I want to Thank 1sgt for setting today up, getting us judged and heading up a terrific day.......Don't slight your wrist John, we need a fearless leader to set these events up!

Hey it goes to show you, that an outsider looking in does not see all the mods, that is for all the Kappa people to enjoy. They see that these cars in their original form are so awesome they come in first as is....... good Job GM and good job PEP for keeping it clean.

We all think are cars are the best, but it is nice when someone else agree's!

And now for my acceptance speech which I never got to give...........

I have always dreamed a day would come when all of my rubbing and lubing would come to a head with a win like this.......

I would like to Thank Chip Foose, for without his awesome wheel design and cool logo, my car would blend in with the masses, I would like to Thank Magnaflow for building the 4 most beautiful pipes to tie in the back end of my 1st PRIZE WINNER...... and most of all I would like to Thank GM and Saturn for building a Car so Beautiful that it even got the judges to look past a rotating Mini Me version of a GXP spinning on a pedestal of mirror's, just mocking my little model which had to rest on my windshield vents.

And one last dig, see sarge you never have too many REDLINES.......... the judges need to know!

But seriously Paul, Congrats again!
Thank's much 1ST SARGE for getting us together. No committing suicide, please, although I personally think you got the short end of that one. And it will be a Longggg time before Ivan or PEP let you forget this day.
It was great to see you all again and to meet Karen. I missed the donut. Was Ivan drooling? He does that you know...never eat next to him. It's very distracting.
Thanks for the chuckles Ivan. Bob said he hasn't laughed like that in a long time
Will post picts soon. Need to get the camera thingy to download to my computer...

This day shall go down in the history books of The LongIsland Solstice /Sky club, and it shall live in INFAMY forever. The little MEAN N/A that someone loved to put down many times, has pulled it off, First Prize, not on a racetrack or in the quarter mile, but in front of a judge, and today that's where it counted the most.So hopefully no hard feelings, but I must say,the look on your face when they awarded me with first place with Paul, was worth a million first prizes to me.I must THANKYOU sarge I had a great day and you did a wonderful job putting this thing together today..

I just want to congratulate everyone today, because we are all winners ,our cars are all Kappa!!! I would also like to thank Ed for doing such a great job on my invisible mods. And last but not least, I would like to thank myself for choosing the noisy Magnaflow exhaust which I like very much, considering the Solo was better.

Steve--I love the new gas cap. Each of Ed's gas caps are like a fine piece of jewelry--I think we all need one. Special note to Joanne, Karen, Steph and Paula--I'm glad we got to do a little shopping today. Congratulations to Pep, Paul, Sarge, Rich and Ivan--the picture Karen took of the proud trophy recipients is priceless. Sorry I missed the awards....got a little cold and wet for me. Despite the weather, it was a great time. Sarge, thanks for getting there early to set us up. Rich, sorry I forgot the special bottles . I'll remember next time. Looking forward to seeing everyone again soon.

Congratulations to everyone!

I really did have a great time, in fact I think my cheek bones hurt from laughing so much!

Great day guys - we should definitely do it again soon. Sarge, fantastic job getting everyone out there and organizing everyone and keeping certain people in line (you know who you are) Almost forgot... the attached thread will probably explain why Reed wasn't there...

Input Please (Literally) - Saturn Sky Forum

Falsetto you may need to ask permission before reading the attached thread.

Thanks again everyone, I look forward to seeing you all again soon!

Just when I thought I couldnt love Reed anymore this thread starts. Good morning laugh before work. Thanks Karen. Maybe you should take some pointers from Pep, Reed. He got tons of woman when he still drove his 84 Chevy blazer, and that didnt even have any sides left on it. Made Geraldine look like a super model. I am sure Ivan has some really good tips for you too LOL. Hope everyone has a good week, its a 4 day for me woo hoo!!! ~Paula

No way. I never enter with the idea of taking second. If I enter, I win.
By the way, you see this Sky Forum thread with Reed? Now get off my back!
