Sarge, I've been thinking (and no I didn't hurt myself). I am extremely disappointed that you are not going to the Sept. 28 run because of a previously scheduled car show. I have never been on a run with the LI group and I would really really like it if you would go. To be honest, it really won't be the same without you. How am I supposed to keep this group of misfits from getting into trouble by myself?
Last time we were at OBI a gentleman gave you a flyer for a car show to raise money for prostate cancer on Sept. 7. I personally think it's an excellent cause! I was hoping that maybe we could all go to the show on Sept. 7 and cancel the show on Sept. 28?
Would you please change your mind and go on the run with us? If you'd like I will write a really nice letter of cancellation/apology and explain that we won't be attending on Sept. 28th. What do you think? Will you go with us? PLEASE!!!!!

I don't think it's about trophies this time. I think it's about commitment. Sarge committed to going to a show and he thinks he should go. I would hope that "the Board" (wherever it is this week) would allow majority to rule. Majority says let's go driving!!!!
