Hey guys and gals, My laptop won`t connect to the internet so I`m using my daughters for now. I went by the cruz night at Chevy`s in Babylon and it SUCKED!, terrible parking lot, no protection from the SUV shoppers and very small. There were about 6 cars there. We then dove to Tanner park in Copiage where the new Beachhut is and was blown away. The town did a incredible job, very car parking friendly right on the bay with a live band, food, drinks, and a ice cream palor, all 50`s style. This is going to be a great summer cruz night spot. They`re advertising Tues night classic car nights 6PM - ? I would like to get everyone together next Tues, I think you guys and your significant others would have a blast.
Hey that sounds good, I'm in for this Tuesday night.

Hampton's Run - Sunday, August 10th
Depart from Starbuck's parking lot at 8:30AM
(Just South of the LIE off Exit 64 - Route 112. It's on the Northbound side of 112.)
The rain date will be the following Sunday, August 17
It was great seeing all of you (well... most of you were there... I missed those of you that were not there) this morning. It's been too long. The economy has me working and traveling like never before! But I'm being very careful about what I wish for!!!
I'm planning an August 10th run in the Hamptons. I hope y'all can make it. Sarge says there has been very little feedback with regards to runs, so it's been tough scheduling them. Well, this time we're just gonna put a stake in the ground and do the run no matter what. Heck, if it's just me out there, so be it! In that case, I'll call it "The run of one" and I'll post pictures as if it were a full club event... me stopping for a bathroom break... me looking at the Montauk Lighthouse... me eating... etc...
The route will be pretty close to the same one we did last year. We'll depart at 8:30AM from the Starbuck's parking lot (just South of the LIE on Route 112 - Exit 64). Please arrive in time. We'll take Exit 70 to Sunrise Hwy. When Sunrise Hwy ends in South Hampton, we'll go off into the twisties and stay that way most of the way to Montauk Point.
Last time, none of us actually wanted to see the Lighthouse. We all spent the money to park, but it was a big waste. Unless told otherwise, this time we'll just drive the Lighthouse loop slowly and go straight to Gosman's.
Lunch will be at Gosman's dock (outside patio area). We'll take a mostly different twisty route out of the Hamptons.
I'll get the outbound and return routes spiral bound from Kinko's, like last year. Please let me know you're coming so I have an idea of how many to get made. I won't have them made until August 8th, so any time between now and then is good.
The route is done in PowerPoint, so if you want an electronic copy of it, just PM me with your e-mail address and I'll get it out to you. That will also be around August 8th, because I want to run it alone just before we go. You never know where or when construction or something nasty could pop up.
I'm in for August 10th sounds like a great run Dan.

Hey Chris, the 28th works for me too. Any ideas on a nice place to spend the weekend?
I was cleaning out my older kid's closet - he's moving to Miami next week - Reed - no more sticko - anyway I found a cd from 9/11/01 when I was in Cape Cod. My little monster was 4 years old and I was a size 8.
