I am thinking about having a tuning day/mod meet at my house in N. Bellmore, NY. If I can get enough people that want the tune, we could all meet at my house, have some drinks, relax, enjoy each others company, and tune the cars in one shot. Here is the process:
1. I will use my laptop and HP Tuners program to pull the stock tune out of your car. That will always be saved for you in case you need to revert to stock in the future. (approx. 20 minutes to complete- one time deal)
2. I will email Lyndon your stock tuning file.
3. Lyndon will make the necessary changes and email me a newly tuned file.
4. I will write the new calibration into your computer using the laptop and HP Tuners. (approx. 45 seconds)
Any future changes in the tune will take 45 seconds or less. Lyndon provides any updates free of charge. I am not charging you anything to tune your car, therefore you are saving $650, which is the price of the HP Tuners software. The latest tune increases HP and TQ a tremendous amount...enough to now smoke my 40 width tires from a stop. It's the most fun I have had in a long time.
The cost is $395 to NASSOA members until October. That goes to Westers Garage, not me. Again, I will do it at no charge.
Post in this thread if you are interested. The tuning is for 2007 Solstice GXP's only...it's all I have credits for on the tuning program. I would like to make sure it will work in another car first before many come at one time, so if you want to be the first one done, drop me a line here or by PM.
Also, I just spoke with Dave from DDMWorks. He said that if there is enough interest, he would bring some of his products over also and install them as your car gets tuned. He is willing to drive from South Carolina for this if there's enough people involved. This is the time to get exhausts, valve covers, intercoolers, gauges and gauge pods, etc. installed by professionals. That includes gauges, gauge pods, Por-Beams, etc. He also said that he would install other vendor's items as well. C'mon guys, let's get this rolling!!! We can decide on a date when there is enough interest.
Tentative Attendance:
1. vstar- supercharger install, pro beam, possibly more
2. pace car
3.
Common, just call it a mod meet and get over it hahah, don't forget to buy the vertical doors
LOL I should call it a mod meet...but that would be copying the Maryland one...hell...isn't copying the best form of flattery? I want those doors so bad, just don't know if the wallet can handle a hit like that at this time.
