Actually stuck a post-it reminder on my laptop this morning so I'll remember to send it to you tonight. (I was out at Happy Hour then grocery shopping until 10:00pm last night and didn't even turn on the computer when I got home.)

Sorry, but I'm not one of those folks who wakes up in the morning and immediately jumps on the computer before I head out to work. And I can't email it from my work computer. So you should get it some time tonight.

Anyone else with a Garmin 7XX or 8XX nuvi that would be interested in pre-running the "proposed" route, let me know and I can email it to you. Please note this is not necessarily the final route, until solli and I do some pre-runs and work out any bugs.

Please add Rusty & 7angels to the list. NC home is on the market. Anyone want/need to move to Huntersville, the no.2 company relocation place in the country (according to Forbes.com)?

Hi Michele,

Same itinerary as last year ? Dinner Friday night(Black Barn?). Saturday cruise to the Chatterbox for lunch & then on to the Walpack Inn for dinner. Sunday cruise to Hot Dog Johnny's for lunch then on to Four Sisters Winery and then depart. Would like to know before making hotel reservations.

Thanks............

Ron

Thanks. It'll be great to see the MASSC gang again. Brought Zippy up north in the trailer yesterday.

Well, I was finally able to do a pre-run of the route this past Friday. Here is what I propose for the day's agenda. (Other than initial departure time, all times are approximate.)

10:00am - Meet at Holiday Inn Express (I will bring my laptop to download the route into any compatible GPS devices - Garmin nuvi 7XX or 8XX)

11:00am - Depart Holiday Inn Express

12:00 noon - Arrive at Chatterbox Drive-In for lunch stop

1:30pm - Depart Chatterbox Drive-In

2:30pm - Arrive Westfall Winery, Montague, NJ

3:30pm - Depart Westfall Winery

5:00pmish - Arrive at Walpack Inn for dinner (need to confirm dinner reservation with solli4me, but I think we did 5:30pm last year, which will hopefully work out again this year.)

When dinner is completed, head back to Holiday Inn Express, or to I-80 for those who wish to head directly home.

Let me know what you all think.

The following question was asked over on skyroadster, and I thought it should be posted over here as well.

As far as the organized run goes, that is correct - only on Saturday. With the later start time, most folks should be able to reach the starting point on Saturday morning without an overnight stay.

I would encourage those who have more than an hour or two drive home to please consider staying over Saturday night though, as we will have put in a long day of driving at that point and we don't want sleepy drivers jeopardizing themselves or others on the road.

If anyone opts to stay over Saturday night and there is interest, I can look into putting together a brunch excursion on Sunday morning before folks head out for home. (There is a lovely brunch restaurant that we could go to which would have us drive the first 1/2 hour or so of last year's Sunday Run.)

All, the route is about 180 miles at a leisurely pace with three stops along the way. Dinner is around 5:30pm.

I'm happy that last year's event was enjoyable and some would like to see a second day added. We'd like to accomodate as best as we can -

Please post if you're interested in Sunday also....

It's 4+ hours for me. So I can probably come up Saturday morning unless others are staying over Friday. And I can probably make it back Saturday night if I absolutely had to if others aren't staying over Saturday. So, for me, it's up in the air as to whether I would be there for brunch on Sunday.

Susan, kind of in the same boat as you and I'm leaning to driving up Friday after work and not leaving till Sunday. That being said I would be up for a social hour if folks are around and the Sunday brunch would work but I'm not up for any extended drive to get there knowing that I face weekend traffic on the way home.

There are enough of us close by that we could make a weekend out of it as well. I'm not sure where I'm sleeping, but I'll be around for all the festivities.

PS I even worked with my buddy in the print shop. No magnets flying off at 75 MPH. New and improved vehicle identification markers have been created.

Jason, you're the best. But we're keeping to speed limit so there's no chance anything will fly off.

Mike, if you're coming in on Friday, I'm sure a few of us we can get together...
