For the third year in a row, Pontiac Motorsports is offering a limited number of Solstice forum members (and their guest) special accommodations to the Watkins Glen International Raceway on Saturday, June 7, 8:30am - 6:00pm.
Register quickly because SPACE IS LIMITED and we need to send out the tickets in time for the event!

Special Parking for your Solstice in the Pontiac Car Corral
(2) General Admission Tickets
Private Tech Talk with Pontiac Engineers
Chance to be involved with Pre-race ceremonies
Chance to watch the start of the race from the starter stand

Does anyone know of a good cheap hotel for the Friday night in the Watkins Glen area?
There are quite a few, But it's really not that far away from you. I will see if I can dig up some links. Last year some of the folks that showed up there on Friday got to do a hot lap in the passenger seat around the track.

You're right, it's not far from here. It's about a 3.5 hour drive but if I am going to be there at 8:30 in the morning it'd be an early morning. As my son that is coming along is working Friday, we may not be there for the run but at least we will be well rested for Saturday morning.
I may well call the Seneca Lodge. Thanks Lenny!

Seneca Lodge Watkins Glen NY Food and Bar Room are very good here. Rooms are adequate.
It's very convenient. Once you check in you can get settled in your room, get a decent meal, and do some 12 ounce curls at the bar. And you never have to get in your car.
