I know it's hard to believe, but it is that time of year again!
This year I have selected the Holiday Light Show at Shady Brook Farm in Yardley/Morrisville, PA (located about 15 miles south of New Hope, PA). Holiday Light Show Shady Brook Farm
There is a fee to drive through this one, $25 a car. (Since it is on a farm, I will confirm that the driving route is roadster-friendly once we get closer to the date.)
The date is Saturday, December 4, 2010, in the evening, of course.
Dinner will be at Sweet Lorraine's, located in Peddler's Village in Lahaska, PA. Our dinner reservation is for 35 people at 6:00pm, and we will be able to order off of the regular menu. For those interested in adding some Holiday shopping and festivity to their day, you may want to arrive early to check out Peddler's Village's Annual Christmas Festival that weekend (Saturday, December 4 & Sunday, December 5, 2010)
Santa arrives in a horse-drawn carriage on Saturday to kick off weekend visits with the children through December. Hot mulled cider, toasted marshmallows and roasted chestnuts are seasonal favorites.
The Village is beautifully decorated, Victorian-style, with fruit wreaths and greenery. Live entertainment. Free admission.
