I know I've left a lot of things unanswered...so please
Why Thank You Rian! I finally sent it yesterday!
Now I just need to book a room while I still can!
OK kiddies...this thread is too quiet. I've been trying to think up new and ridiculous things to do this time around that may push Natasha to her limit with us. Although she was so nice and made the little Kappa car thing for the welcome board last time.
What haven't we done yet? We've done the laundry cart thing in Zanesville. We did hallway bowling. We still have never found The Blue Ball. I need to start making the necessary preparations!
Due to some recent Guitar Hero Fail video floating around on other parts of the internet...
We would like to do a little Guitar Hero action, with the complete band if we can get it transported. We have an owner with a guitar, bass, drums and mics, but if someone else has one or 2 of the necessities and you are willing to bring it...please post!
And of course a wii! We have a couple wii's so that may be covered.
Apparently, I've been delegated to be Posh Spice. :cuss:
We better block lovers lane off again for them....I dont know what I did with the contruction cones we used last year..maybe we will rope it off with police tape!!!!
:devil:+:devil:=:lurk:
Good idea! Wonder if I have any Caution tape left. Oooh...oooh...
We need to talk! Soon!!! We need to put the Band back together. Tell Mark when you talk to him tonight we need to set up a meeting. We need to discuss some stuffs, because we only have 6-7 weeks. I should put together a list!

I've been thinking about attending this. It sounds like fun. I've never been on a run before. Can someone fill me in on what to expect, to bring, etc. Feel free to contact me off-list so we don't fill this thread up with newbie info. I'm south of Dayton and would be attending Friday & Saturday. I dressed up as a pirate last year for Halloween, so I already have a costume. That worked out well! Thanks for the info.
Chili tried to book Thursday night and they said they were full.
Called Matt...he says the computer says they are full
I pointed out we had a block of 25 reserved per Sally for all 4 nights
so unless they are giving our rooms away we have open capacity.
Won't know till tomorrow whats actually going on.
Stay tuned.
Billy
There are three levels of runs...Beginner...Intermediate and Advanced.
Depending on your familiarity with the roads and your car you may be
classified as a beginner.
Quick overview.
State speed limit..(posted on white signs) says 55 mph.
Yellow sign at a curve shows 25mph
Beginner...is comfortable with 25 and does turn at that limit.
Intermediate says I can handle it at 40 ....
Advanced says "speed limit is 55" and goes into curve at 55
***********************
Most of us are Intermediates.

BRING
CAR
RADIO (Cobra or Motorola or equiv.) with capabilities up to 22 channels ...if you have one..most
of us have extras
DRAMAMINE.......doesn't hurt to have it.....many wish they HAD some with them.
Food is provided...just bring enough cash to pay your share
Booze...suggest you bring something
CAUTION...imbibing heavily the night before a run will result in a loss of concentration
and ability to focus......be advised you can not function properly on these roads
nursing a hangover.
Yep, just wanted to add an extra night to mine and they said nothing left...go figure. Picking Hubby up at the airport Thursday and staying at Druids Thursday night.....NO BLUE ROOTIES THAT NIGHT!!!!:lol:
Second... I checked on their website and it says there are only rooms left for Saturday night. I haven't booked yet, so should I go ahead and call to at least get a room for Saturday night and then add to it hoping for cancellations?
There is no way we are taking up that block of rooms yet. Please tell me they didn't give our rooms away! :brentil:
Anyway Sol Co - Did you get the hotel situation figured out? I saw the email. Just wondering if I should go ahead and book the Saturday room so I don't have to use the Ghetto entrance all weekend. I mean, I'll arrive via the Ghetto entrance anyway, but that's beside the point...
I would vote Guinness. I know there isn't too many stout beer fans out there. I'm definitely one. I can drink anything though. I would call myself a beer connaisseur, not a beer snob...there is a difference!!
apparently they entered a second reservation for something called
NEO SWO? (not SOW)
hope to get that cleared up tomorrow and have rooms avbl.
NOTE: our "current" reservation cut off date is September 9th
less than 2 weeks away, so get your reservation made quickly
I'm going to ask Sally to move back our cut off day to the 25th
but don't hold your breath
