Thanks to everyone involved in the planning...certainly a run that should not be missed. The pictures are great. The weather was great. One stray cow...stay back big fella! I think he might leave a mark.
I'm never on the solstice side, but I figured all the hoopla would be here, so I decided to visit.
First of all, I want to thank all the little people who made this run possible. Then I'd like to thank the people who made it all worthwhile. Then I'd like to thank all the people who treated me like an equal. Now if only I could remember their names.
But most of all, I'd like to thank myself for showing up.
Seriously, GREAT run !!!! GREAT people!!!! GREAT pictures!!!!!
Can't wait to do it again.
Next time, however, I would suggest warning the Amish community. I think that it was only luck that we encountered the horse and buggies on straightaways. I would hate to think of the consequences had we found them on one of those blind rises or curves.
