Another great Twist re-run. Jeramy and I say thanks to Mike and Mark and so glad for all the people that made it. It was a spectacular day.
No high flying acrobatics or landscaping endeavors, I think the worst of it
was my broken windshield.
Rt. 26 had a lot of stone's and we got peppered more than once.
The weather was overcast at first but brightened up around noon.
We hit a rain storm on the way home but kept moving and managed to
keep the top down. Mark and Patty, did you get your top up? It sure poured!
It soon cleared and the rest of the trip was dry and mostly sunny.
We put on about 550 miles in 12 hours today, what a blast.
Jeramy and I both have pictures that we will post soon.

As Jay said..perfect weather day

-minimal locals
-bright sun
-great fellowship
- a new section of balck velvet on 555
-only 1 cow on the road...no horses or sheep

next stop- Oct. 11th T2TR Double Header (ex Zanesville C.I.)

hope to see you there

Awesome run! Perfect conditions! Had a ball running as the #2 (aka shotgun/spotter) with Druid in the lead and IHawk on the sweep (love the #2 slot. You can keep one eye on the lead dog's line and the other on the pack to assist while still going pretty fast). Great group and learned a lot (i think i know these twisties "forwards".. Now need to know them "backwards"). Also understand that when Druid says, "Meet you at the top", it is drop the hammer time and slide. Faster... Faster....

Just for the record, I did prove you can eat chili and finish this run without hosing down the interior of the car.

In any case, see you folks on the next one and count me in for the 2010 in any role needed.

Finally.. breath easy Druid.. I shall restrain myself a bit as a "Mapper" and give you a free pass.... Oh hell... at least i will try.

Oh yeah.. last last.. The Reisling is an excellent choice for those who will mix with margaroittes. Quite painless reentry to the land of awareness this morning.

Deborah and I just got home, and all I cay say is WOW. Fantastic route planning by Mike and the group associated with putting it together.

IMO MUCH of the route leading up to the 555 section is AT LEAST as challenging, twistie, and fun as 555 itself.

You should just quit messing around and change the name of this thing to

The Twist

Sorry Chubby but this run better utilizes the tittle.

Great to see old friends, and make new ones. Looking forward to the pictures and video. The only unfortunate part of this w/e is that both of my cameras are at the factory having warranty repair work done. Grrrrr.

4 thumbs up!!
