I'm nice enough to take the dogs to Chicago each year for Bark in The Park. It's a 5K dog walk to raise money for Chicago's Anti-Cruelty Society. It's actually really cool and I like doing it. So the Ex does it with me and gets to walk his dog. And she is definitely his dog...and not mine! The other Jack Russell we had was mine, but I had to put him to sleep 2 years ago Sept. 30th. How do I know that...Because that's Hawkeye's B-Day:

I know! Pretty sure I have a conflict with the date, but it won't be a problem. So my Jack Russell will miss her yearly visitation with the ex!
Why not drop the pup off for a weekend visit with her dad?
Pet visitation - that's how I justify having my ex cat sit for me while I'm away (well, that and the fact that its free! )

It's a fun run-just don't get in a group that's gonna be running at 60-65+ I almost lost it once, scared the cr@p out of myself, and that has never happened!! AFter that I slowed my speed by about 5 mph, and it was still fun and didn't hear a complaint from Scuba or Flipper behind me!!

Well if it scared you, I don't know what it would do to me. I suppose I'll go as fast as I'm comfortable with then.
Twasn't the road so much as fighting to stay ON the road on one hard right post blind rise. I thought I saw the whites of eyes behind me as I held on to get back on my side of the dern road Knew better than to brake, just drove through it. Ended up with bruises from being flung back and forth against the door and the console for 200 miles!!
.... we WON'T be running that fast!
