Hmm...They may be a little heavier than the regular plastic bottles. Plus the shape may work well.
I take it they are empty. We can fill em to then empty them to make it legit!

OK, as a youngster, I used to set up pop cans on the sidewalk. I had a very soft sided soft ball...you know...one of those you could catch without a glove. What if we found something like that. We wouldn't have to worry about messing up a grapefruit.
Or if the bottles are light enough, I bet a nerf ball would work.

How about a wiffle ball? That would probably work too.

I thought of that as well, but do you think the ball might be too light??? We could tape up a nerf ball to make it work if we had to! We used to do that in high school for P.E.

The footballs look great, I think the square mayo jars would be too hard to knock over. We could load the footballs up with sand, dirt, pebbles, and even out the weight until it's right. Would need something heavy for that option. If you leave them empty, wiffle ball would work ok, boy they would fly!
Can't wait, finished booking our "FULL" trip. We'll arrive in Newcomerstown Friday morning, leave Sunday for Newark, Ohio, leave Newark Ohio and travel to Newark, DE for the Mecca II Tour, then leave from there, going through Washington DC, Atlanta, then home. Looking forward to it! Should be great. If anyone has any recommendations for "Must see" things, or great restaurants, please let me know!

We could throw a little weight in the bottom. Maybe even a little water if need be. Gotta keep it simple for transport purposes.
Might have to do a bit of experimenting before the festivities begin!
