I cannot even begin to describe how much fun I had with you guys! Thanks to Mike for helping me to get there, and that's to Gunny for making me feel welcome in his awesome GXP.
And thanks again to Theresa and Wayne for their support of helping me to get my vehicle home!
I made it back home after catching a few good sized Lake Trout and Salmon in Lake Michigan yesterday.
T2TR-III was a great time and it was good to meet everyone, most of you for the first time.
Thanks to Ihawk for her efforts in organizing the caravan into N-town.
Thanks to Druid2 for all his hard work.
Thanks to Dashark for the shirts.
Thanks to our group captains and sweeper, Sang, SolScuba, and Gunny.
What fun!!!
I didn't hit that sheep but I did get her phone number.
Dave
You had me at Lake Trout and Salmon.. Damn.... We must hook up on that front.... As far as the Sheep, she gave her phone number to everyone (such a tramp) but she only offered you the special buff job...

I want to thank all of the people that made Keegan feel part of this group. He is one of my Monte Carlo Forum buddies, and you ALL made him feel part of the group. Special thanks to big Mike for bringing him from PA, and to Gunny for letting him be your co-pilot!
Druid, a FIRST CLASS operation!
Keegan had some tough luck with his Intimidator SS. After cracking his flex plate, as I did twice, he drove to ZZPerformance in Grand Rapids to have a race transmission, 2.29 gears (comes with 2.93's), gen V Eaton M112 blower, intercooler, cam, and several other things done to his car at the same time. He was short on time, and had to get back to work for the D.O.D. in PA, so there were a couple of bugs in his car (shifting right). He drove the 600 miles BACK to MI for about an hours work, and drove BACK to PA. Two weeks later his new double roller timing chain broke completely, bending all his pushrods, and messing up the valves and heads. The valves all hit the pistons. He had it flat bedded to MI ($600) where ZZPerformance worked on it for a month. The timing chain mfg' picked up the tab on most of it (faulty cut gears), and ZZPerformance picked up the rest. Timing worked out perfect that I was able to drive up to G.R. to get his car 2 days before T2TR III and drive it to the meet, as I tagged along with the MKC group (got a few GREAT pics while driving).
So this young vet that just got back from overseas has had some tough luck, and when things clicked into place for this delivery to be made, AND to let him JOIN us on this run, well, again, I want to thank yo all for making him feel welcome and part of the group. Here are a couple of pics that I posted on the Monte Carlo Forum:

Keegan, just after getting his car back
The 3 of us at the dinner afterwards. Thanks Druid for the extra dinner
Thanks again to ALL of you. See you at the "Tail of the Dragon"
Wayne (RocknSS04 on the MCF)

Well, after 3,599.7 miles, we're home! Thanks Druid for all of you hard work, we really had a great time! The run was incredible, intense, intimidating, and had me whining through a few of those blind rises, but overall, it was a blast! I have a new appreciation for my car, and what it can do. I also did a few things I thought I'd never do in it! Again, kudos for a great event, and we're looking forward to coming back for another one!

well, I have yet to post my picturs from T2TR...
I've been pretty busy with my life and I can't bring files to work to upload.
I'll do it ASAP ^^
it was fun.. and my car is full of paint chips now
I'm in trouble? What... who drunk dialed me three times from Mecca? Hmm... wonder, could you have been involved with that? No... no way at all.
And.. we didn't have to try the coin trick... no need, all we needed was already there! At least I know you like white and bows!
I don't have your number!! And it wasn't even my idea!
Yeah, remember that for future reference! I forgot about those when we were chatting Thursday night. Cause there are cherries also! I was thinking about no bows and all white. But since they are no longer allowed, I'll have to get rid of them.
My friends get a kick out of the coin trick. I usually don't notice that one so it can be really funny! Unless the coin is cold. Then I notice real quick!
