druid-2 : yes...saves us a stop at dry ridge and it would give the rest of the caravan something to break the monotony of driving the interstate.
Mark is actually going to lead the hotshoe Sat. morning with me in the c o-pilot seat
btw..re Thursday night dinner at the British pub...should Mark and I sharpen up our darts and bring them along?
Sounds like a plan.
If anyone wants to ride along, I'll be going solo for the Friday 227 run. Judy hates to get up early. Kim does not have me scheduled for a 227 run on Saturday, so I guess I'll get to sleep in.
I'll check on the dartboard. They must have one or three, but right now I cannot visualize where.

It looks like your schedule and mine will converge in Florence (Y'ALL). If you pin down a time I may be able to meet up with the caravan at Rafferty's.
There is a known speed trap on I-71/75 south in northern KY. Shortly after you cross the Ohio River you will climb a hill (the "cut in the hill"). When you crest that hill speeds naturally increase. Most people don't use cruise control on a heavily travelled road like that, so foot pedal pressure is the defacto "cruise". If you don't pay attention, when the grade levels out, all that power that went into keeping you at 55 as you climb a steep grade is gradually converted into increased speed on a level stretch. And by sheer coincidence, this is where the KY Hwy Patrol chooses to set up their laser traps. They camp out in the shoulder of the high speed lane just around a blind curve (all in the name of safety of course!), just before the speed limit changes to 65.
So when you get to the top of that hill WATCH YOUR SPEED. It's around mile marker 189. Just take it easy until you get past exit 186, Buttermilk Pike, where the speed limit goes to 65.
And BTW, if Officer Steward happens to be stationed there on Thursday, as you meander by please give him a proper greeting on by behalf.
Is there an o-fishy-al meetin' up place on the Ohio side, or should I meet you at Rafferty's?
There's a Wendy's at the Mason Montgomery Fields Ertel exit (#19). Easy off...easy on. I could meet you there (call me when you're about 30 minutes away, and I'll make sure I'm out of the park and waiting for you, so you won't be delayed). I'll PM you my number.
Location: buzzard..what buzzard..do you see a buzzard..I didn't see a buzzard...or that little sparrow either
