What is different this time.....
It's a wine tasting cruise.
Leave Belden 11 am...drive South on I-77 to SR39 (Sugar Creek)...go to Breitenbach's winery for a tasting. back in the cars...take 39 to Sugar Creek
then south on 93 to Coshocton to Raven's Glen winery for more tasting and Lunch. After lunch we will climb 83 back to Wooster and take 30 back to Canton...ending at Belden about 4 pm
I know Marco and Nancy and Tim & me (D2) are already in (that's 4 of the 7)
The rest of the original 7 are XMM & ateam77 (now 1sly sol) and Shoeman
There will be many more than 6 cars this year
I expect we'll hear from Coolone 9MRW and a whole mess of others - including SKY's
The Runs (Twisties) are done for the year ...{not really}... I have one left...details later...
Right now we have 09-23 Carnut's Catawba & Covered Bridge Cruise
and now add to your calendar....
The {10-28} Magnificent Seven's Anniversary Wine Tasting Cruise
let's see...drive, drink, drive some more, drink some more, drive again, and on curvy roads. good luck with that.
(maybe some time you could do a drive, drink and spend the night trip. sounds a bit safer.)
Location: None shall pass. 'Cept you guys with the turbos...

Not a problem, during a wine tasting. This is one of those rare moments when being a spitter is a good thing.

For anyone who has never done tasting......
the wine comes in little itty bitty teeny tiny so small plastic cup-lets
you can rinse and spit or swallow
then you eat crackers (special kind) to cleanse your palate.
Then you have a second try.
Usually about 6 to a taste testing.
seeing as how the second one is an hour after the first one
and lunch is also involved I ask you
how ripped can you get on the equivalent of one 6 oz glass of wine
'Course you Cal-types are kinda like the Texas types
you want to super size everything ...which reminds me
i remember back in the 60's when i was first introduced to some California doobies down around Huntington Beach. I was used to the "Virginia slim" version...the one handed to me was more like a Cohiba.
trust me we are a moderate group...and like they say up in Canada
"you are your own liquor control board"
D-2 - Did you put this one to sleep?? You going to run it??
