All who are going to T2TR on Thursday 30th let me know and we will set up a time and place to meet. So far Dog Tale and us are going. It would be nice to have a good showing of the OKISS members!
I can't drive up until after my co-pilot gets out of school on Friday. Unfortunately, I get out at 2:30--and her elementary in a neighboring district releases at 4:30. She'll probably have to go home to let out her dogs...won't leave until 5-5:30...and give us 2.5 hrs drive...We'll be up around 7:30-8 pm earliest.

Someone has to start by proposing a time and place to meet. My schedule is still pretty uncertain due to work requirements. When I know more I'll post mine, unless someone else has already started the process.

NEO Far West Caravan will be coming through Dayton Thursday Afternoon. I posted our schedule. Thought about a Columbus stop again if there was interest, but we could do Dayton if the timing works.
I'd have to check and see when we'd be coming through. Probably around 2:30-3:00 pm ish.
You all are welcome to join up with us!

Traveling via Dayton adds about 30 miles to the trip versus going direct from Cincinnati to Columbus. I am more likely to want to join up with a group in Columbus than in Dayton. Unless there is a stop planned, I would be open to waiting on the side of the road and joining the group as it flies by.

We can figure something out John. I don't mind making the extra stop if the Dayton group doesn't mind. Last year, we made the Columbus stop for those coming from the south...grabbed DW (he was coming from TX last year), Bryan 1969, Chili, KYGXP...DA1234 came down and escorted us, so it was a nice group.
At the end of our caravan, I was planning to run all or part of the end of T2TR since it's on our way and doesn't cost us much in the way of time.

2:30 - 3:00ish sounds good. For the Dayton area people, meeting east of Dayton would be best. I suggest the rest area near mile marker 70. This would be a quick-in, quick-out, pee stop for your caravan. I also like the twisty route you have planned at the end.
The Ky, Cincinnati drivers would be better off joing in the Columbus area.
Comments?

I think we could make that happen. Let me calculate the times to be sure I've done my math correctly.
We'd then make a stop in Columbus and grab that group.
Cool Man! This is coming together nicely!

Just did the math. Please check it to make sure I've got it right!
East side of Indy to Dayton is 90 minutes per the online map sites. That puts us in Dayton around 2:30 pm. The rest area at MM 70 is another 25 miles. Figure we could be there by 3:00 pm.
Then I just need to figure out how much further to Columbus to get that stop worked out.
Like last year, I'm allowing an hour window in Indianapolis. I could close that window and move the times up. I hear Columbus traffic may slow us up since we'll be hitting it around rush hour. What do you guys think?
