Yeah, that was a great time there. I went there only knowing a few people, but made some great friends. Lots of good memories.

Well, start planning now for Denver in '09!!! It should be a really great time, especially if you participate in the caravaning to and from as part of the group activities.

Yeah, I'm going to have to get a headset, so I can actually hear you. Well I could turn the music down. Nah.

I keep pretty quiet when the top is down and the windows are down. Too hard to hear on the interstate anyway.

I've been tossing it back and forth, never actually been to Denver before. If I do go I'll have to fly. I don't want to eat up too much vacation time driving and since my Sol is my everyday driver for now I need to watch how many miles I put on her. I'm also really bad on long drives, I spent so much of my late teens through mid twenties on the endless highway and it really burnt me out...about 500 miles is my max for driving these days...man I'm just a bucket of excuses aren't I!

I've been looking into this, or some way to plug the radio into the stereo along with the ipod.....not sure if that's possible but I have some ideas that might require a little engineering......when I get busy rocking out I tend to ignore other things going on.

Yeah, there has to be something. The only problem might be cranking some Disturbed or Ankla and then hearing "cow" mid song.

**Hijack warning**

Can anyone reccomend a good radio and headset combo? I have a set of radios, but they are the hand held kind and not great for the drives. Would love to pick up a good set to use on the T2TR and Caravan's.

**End Hijack**

GO JOE'S CRAB SHACK GANG!!

I remember Nashville... I had lots of Joy(full) experiences in Nashville.

I'm in the search for a good headset or something, so can't comment on that. I just had to say something about your Joy(full) experience. And to think I thought you were coming back from breakfast or something.

Ah, the innocence of youth. I could tell by the smile on his face that he was coming back from a lot more than just breakfast.

I'm in search myself, this is uncharted territory for me.

Druid and I have been using the Midland LXT-440 with the AVP-1 headsets. These work very well, they have a VOX (voice activation) option but we have found that top-down wind noise is to loud for the microphone sensitivity.

It appears that the lxt-440 has been replaced by the LXT-460. But there are still some LXT-440s around. Get the one with the rechargable batteries and charger it's about $40.
