Most of the good hotels are "sold out" for this weekend due to MASSIVE Longaberger Bus tours (composed mainly of blue hairs and PBOM's)
The longer you wait to get your rooms the less chance you have of getting one
The CI has a group rate still in effect.
The Hampton is sold out..but has a reserve clause that says that if the bus tours don't confirm by September 10th then they open the rooms up again
Here is a list of the other hotels that may have rooms in the area
HAMPTON IS 740-453-6511
FAIRFIELD IS 740-453-8770
SUPER 8 IS 740-455-3124
RAMADA IS 740-453-0771
I cannot get a Group rate at any of these hotels because of the low volume
this is the best i can offer for those coming from afar.....
Every time I go somewhere I always end up at a hotel with something "interesting" going on. A few years back I went down to Atlanta to for a metal/rock fest down there with people coming from all over the country. The hotel consisted of about 1000 rockers and at the same time they were having a convention for hairdressers who probably had the rooms we didn't. Yeah that was an interesting mix of people to say the least.

Reminds me of our 2007 Solstice Nationals in Nashville. The other large group sharing the hotel with us was the Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority.
I can't tell you how many times I heard the cheeseball phrase "Tri-Sig! I think I will!" coming from one man's mouth or another. Men are just so predictable sometimes.

Not sure, we're up here right now, spending a few days at my mom's. Heading to KY tomorrow for the Southeastern Regional. I've said we were going, just have to work it out. How are you doing?
