Preamble:
Due to The FBH's we
MUST hold this event on the weekend of October 3rd & 4th 2009
The MKC had respectfully asked that we move this event from Columbus Day weekend either forward or back due to their Foliage Tour (an event I have yet to see posted for 2009). Coupled with that... 10-17 is booked solid in Zanesville by the FBH's (yet again) for their Longaberger bus tours.
So ...by DEFAULT that leaves us with the weekend of 10-03 & 10-04-09 to host the 2009 version of the
T2TR Double Header.

Now the good stuff
Comfort Inn Zanesville (740-454.4144...Amy) has a block of 15 rooms being held under NEOKappa Car Club at an approximate rate of $75.00 per night (1 person) to about $85.00 per night (2 people).
Just an FYI...the rate for 10-17...had we been able to get any rooms.... would have been $139.00 per room. Those hotels really know how to soak the FBH bus tours !!!
These rooms are for Friday 10-02 and Saturday 10-03 only...if you need a Sunday night you will have to ask for the same rate.
If you don't act quickly and those rooms are gone you can try the following
Hampton (740-453-6511...Martha)
Fairfield (740-453-8770 ..Lisa)
Super 8 (740-455-3124)
Ramada (740-453-0771)
Friday dinners will be on your own...nothing official is planned...but Raven's Glenn winery is less than 1/2 hr away for anybody interested....and I can make a reservation there if needed.
Saturday's event will start at 10 am in the Comfort Inn Parking lot.
Trip is exactly the same as last year.....down 555 to SR7..to Marietta and then up SR 26 to Woodsfield where we break for lunch (McDonald's) and then do the same trip in reverse back to Zanesville. we should get back around 3 pm. ...as long as no one breaks down

Dinner will be a
pay as you go at the Tumbleweed.
For those who wish a Sunday run ...we will assemble at 9 am and do the newly created 2010 Short run. This run is only 2 hours and we will be finished by 12 noon for those who need a same-day-getaway.
The good thing about this run is you can start it (and finish it) anywhere in the loop. So we will start the loop at the bottom of 662 and finish at the bottom of 662. This will mean less than a 30 minute drive back to Zanesville in case you haven't already checked out...( for those of you going west.)
For those of you going East or South it puts you at mm169 on I-70Eastbound about 10 minutes from the intersection of I70 & I-77 as a reference point.
OK so those are the basics...I'll sticky this and you can start asking questions.
