FRIDAY NIGHT AT RAVEN'S GLENN WINERY

We were offered 2 buffets.....

Buffet #1 was $15.80 with tax & gratuity. Buffet #2 was $18.24 with tax & gratuity

I have looked at both and selected #2...which is printed below

☐Pork Loin stuffed with polenta & drizzled with a Marsala wine sauce.

☐Sliced Sirloin – slow roasted sirloin steak in a hearty brown sauce topped with button mushrooms. Served with oven roasted baby bakers.

☐Baked Three Meat Lasagna – Layers of beef, sausage & pepperoni in a marinara sauce with pasta & cheese.

☐]Pasta Alfredo with grilled chicken – Fettuccine alfredo tossed with grilled seasoned chicken breast

This is pay at the door (i.e. you pay me before you walk in...and i don't take VISA) so i'll appreciate everybody bringing a double sawbuck for dinner.

So - now i need a HEAD COUNT for the BUFFET.

You may want to reconsider and go with buffet #1 instead. I don't see anything on buffet #2 to accomodate our vegetarian friends, while #1 at least has a meatless pasta dish.

Well Kids...I think my plans for Friday have been foiled.

Looks like I have to be at work for a meeting on Friday morning and I can't get out of it. So unless it gets rescheduled, I can't be on the road until noon Eastern time.

Which means I probably can't make the winery for dinner either. Probably can't get there until 7-7:30 pm Friday night.

And someone else will have to get the troops up to Zanesville Friday morning.

OK..small problem to be solved

Diana (ihawk95) has to work on friday and so shw will NOT
be in Zanesville Friday morning.

Therefore i need a volunteer to lead everyone out of the CI @ 7:45 am
and follow 93 north to n-town

It's a simple exercise we only 3 turns and can be done in less than an hour (at the speed limit)

I don't have a silver bullet but I do have a black Solstice and Erin and I are planning to get in late on Thursday (unless she has a quiz she can't get out of on Friday). We're staying at the Econolodge in Zanesville since we were too late to get into the Comfort Inn.
