SlyGuy : No duplication of effort but possible synergy. What i would like to achieve is having the garmin pull up the appropriate video or least pics at the right point. The GPX language is capable but of course, the Garmin device may not comply as expected. I was looking to integrate this into the "lane change" stuff, but that resides in a Garmin-specifc db and writing a program to add data to that could cause Garmin issues for users down the road.
For my effort, I would like video and/or pics shot with a specific latitude/longitude or the exact video/pic. That will will help me test and further define the possibilities.
Synergy is right! I hadn't realised that you were putting pictures in the route. Glenn has learned how to add voice prompts and announcements, but pictures will be pretty interesting.
Now I just need the route notes.

OK...here's the run agenda so those coming in as 2010 RC's can plan ahead
FRIDAY: SOS in the morning (9-1pm ) and Short Stack in the afternoon (3-5)
These runs will originate in N-town so anyone doing them....we only leave Zanesville ONCE ...in the a.m.... so lunch will be in N-town followed by the Short Stack...and then we return to Zanesville for dinner....or maybe Raven's Glenn...we'll see
SATURDAY: T2TR Double Header only [ex Zanesville] dinner at Tumbleweed
SUNDAY (for those that wish to stay) a second shot at Short Stack (maybe counter clockwise this time) in the a.m. so everyone can depart by noon

Diana, We made our reservations yesterday. Arriving Fri. afternoon, departing Sun. afternoon, after the short stack run. Are there going to be runs on Fri. morning? If so, we will arrive on Thurs. afternoon. Thanks, Bern

Yup. Looks like he's running the SOS for training purposes on Friday morning. I'll probably come in Thursday night late. Leave right after work!...
And I should be able to get on the road right after work as I think my dad will have my dogs!

Well, I probably should be there Friday morning for the SOS run, since I am currently down as an RC for the SOS at NASSM 2010.
I changed my hotel reservation to include Thursday night. I will probably do the same as you, although I may slip out of work an hour or two early so I get there before midnight.
