Have to give this trip some thought. I hear the actual run is amazing!! It's just the 452 mi – about 7 hours 40 mins to get there that's troubling.
If you head north to I-80 first, that is actually a really nice drive across PA thru the mountains. I've done it several times and its really not bad. I like it better than the PA Turnpike.
