Great time and well worth the journey (even given the FBH invasion I experienced at breakfast. If you think FBH's are scary on the road??? They are rabid when in a pack to buy wicker and "Amish" crap on a rented bus trip. Like an FBH version of "Night of the Living Dead").
LOL
The thing that creeps me out the most is the indoctrination of the young-ones into their cult. I saw a "3-generation" family group get off the bus last time I was there...all oohing and awing over the prizes they scored at their basket-shaped "mecca."
Great run you guys and nice to meet you Howard. Here is the wine we talked about at lunch Big Red Pecker It's a little pricey but it makes a good conversation piece, Just ask Solli.
Jay nice video and great running with you again. Let me know if you want any company when you install the hitch.
'Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Pinot in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO HOO, What a Ride'!!!!!!!!!! Got that from a junk e-mail but it works!!!

You laugh, but my Mom and oldest sister have been trying to lure me into their cult for several years now.
I am ashamed to admit it to my Kappa friends, but I am a direct descendent of an FBH, and must struggle to resist the family peer pressure every spring when the FBH tour bus announcement comes out.

We actually have a couple of the baskets in our house...
When my S.O. and I got together, oh so many years ago, we both subtly worked some minor tweaks into each other's personality. Somehow, I managed to get the wicker, ceramic and wooden-holiday knick-knacks out of the picture! Thank goodness!

Great Name!!!!! But what a weird configuration. A Cabernet Sauvignon (I assume that is "Cab") and a Syrah (great with steak!) which are on the dry side of the palate and then a Merlot? A freakin' Merlot? I must try this one.
Hey, even with my dry palate, I did find an affinity to a Marechal Foch made in Northwest Ohio (Stoney Ridge Winery). The smell screamed "warning... Gallo rot gut" but it is really quite good.
BTW, Michigan is wine country. If you want to kiss your liver goodbye, do this:
100's more in Michigan but the southwest is "dune country" Perfect for grapes and there has to be 18 plus wineries in about a 15 mile radius (not sure... Never made the full trip... That I remember.. )

Jay - I have no idea how you're managing to take video! That's impressive.
Since I most likely won't have the car Sol next weekend, I'll get video. And I gotta take some notes for caravan purposes.
Hey, is DaShark Bite running with us next weekend??
Shooting video while driving not the smartest thing to do. I just had to look around the camera and do my best to keep both hands on the wheel. I also had to just leave it in third gear which of course affected acceleration.
They turned OK and I am glad they are being enjoyed.

Thanks for the hitch offer, I will probably just put it on some night after work.
Sure was great to see you, missed Cindy. Looking forward to the next time.
