I was looking for local folks. I try to do day trips to fun mountain roads in the other ride and was looking for local Carolina folks to do it in the Solstice.
You should hook up with ChiliSky and DuckSol. They are leading the charge with the Carolina Group. I know that chili has been down in New Orleans for the holidays but she's coming back today. They are always going somewhere in the Carolina mountains.
Location: Still BellaVerde, But Now In Archer Lodge, NC
Welcome! Don't know the exact count in the Meccleburg County area, but know there are a few! Ducky is familiar with the Asheville area, and helps organize runs...as does C'sky...check the SE region on the forum sheet...enjoy the permagrin!

This group is no longer really active but ChiliSky and Myself, are heading up the High Country Solstice & Sky Club and there are a couple of others in the Greensboro and Raleigh areas. If any of you are interested we do have a Cruise get together planned in September and welcome all of you to join in. If any of you are interested here is the link. I am slightly behind on the thread I started... I appreciate the links if the timing is right the Triad is not a bad drive, I'll subscribe and look for the next event. The Labor day run is a great one.. I have done several of those roads in the past in the 911. Don't think we can make that, but I'll try and shuffle stuff around.

My wife and I are new in the group but we've had our Solstice for 2/3 years. We love seeing Sky/Solstice owners out enjoying their cars and always wonder if there is such a club so owners could get together and have fun. We drove the Dragon last year alone and awaiting for the clean up this year. To my joy I see there is an upcoming event. We are in the Asheville area and wondering if there are other locals apart of this club.
I'm sure you'll love it. I was in Greenville, SC 2 weeks ago having DDM install my Stage 2 supercharger. I have had my car 3.5 years and still love it more than my old Vette.
