The group now has it's own website, created on the Ning.com service. This allows us a lot of functionality similar in nature to a Facebook / MySpace site. Each individual will have a Ning.com account, but the site is open only to approved members.
The greatest thing about Ning.com is it's free... but second to that is we can interact, post events, pictures, videos, etc. on there without things getting lost. We also have control over the look, layout, and functionality of the site unlike a Facebook / MySpace group.
So... follow this link (you'll have to piece it back together, sorry... bots will see the link and create spam on the site, so I have to post it this way)
Please post a reply if you have signed up, and give me a heads up as to who you are... I have a few people with requests to join, but I'm not certain who they are and I would like to prevent any spammers from getting in. Sorry if I just don't remember who you are, or don't recognize the name / e-mail, but if you can give me a heads up... I'll make sure you get approved.
Thanks, and start populating the site with your MKC related activities, stories, pictures, etc. I've started a few things on there so you can see how the site works once you log in.
Hi. I signed up just so I could see your page and steal ideas--and maybe find a time we could drive north to join you in an outing. I currently do the Indy Roadsters webpage.
Mods:
GMPP CAI,
Stubby antenna(broken by a 60mph bug), replaced with Opel GT antenna,
Lil Chromies,
Painted engine cover (Deep) blue,
MBRP rear facia insert,
Solstice cooler and travel bags for the trunk,
GMPP turbo upgrade,
Solo Street race,
Fuel pump cover upgrade,
Future mods:
Windrestrictor,
Polished or chrome IC pipes,
I have a few folks who are waiting on approval because I don't know who you are, and you haven't indicated on here that you signed up. I'll post the domains of your e-mail so as not to identify you in any way on the forum... but I need you to PM me (or respond here if you like) w/ your name so that I know it's you.
Please add Jeff Clark and Evelyn Clark to the MKC forum.
I've added Jeff, or approved you as you were one on the list. If the other e-mail address wants to have access, sign up with that one as well as I'll know the name now to approve it as well.
We have 19 members signed up on the page. Remember this is NO MEMBERSHIP FEE, simply a way to communicate and share with your fellow MKC'ers.
Please... if you follow the postings here and are interested in joining a cruise, meeting other owners, etc. the website will be where announcements and plans will be housed, so do yourself a favor and don't miss out!
Rich: What happened to the MKC website. It takes me direct to the Solstice forum. Saturday May 16th.
