Hello MKC'ers,

The group now has it's own website, created on the Ning.com service. This allows us a lot of functionality similar in nature to a Facebook / MySpace site. Each individual will have a Ning.com account, but the site is open only to approved members.

The greatest thing about Ning.com is it's free... but second to that is we can interact, post events, pictures, videos, etc. on there without things getting lost. We also have control over the look, layout, and functionality of the site unlike a Facebook / MySpace group.

So... follow this link (you'll have to piece it back together, sorry... bots will see the link and create spam on the site, so I have to post it this way)

Please post a reply if you have signed up, and give me a heads up as to who you are... I have a few people with requests to join, but I'm not certain who they are and I would like to prevent any spammers from getting in. Sorry if I just don't remember who you are, or don't recognize the name / e-mail, but if you can give me a heads up... I'll make sure you get approved.

Thanks, and start populating the site with your MKC related activities, stories, pictures, etc. I've started a few things on there so you can see how the site works once you log in.

Done... as well as the others today. I think 6 of you are now signed up from the 22 we had on the google site we never used.

We have 19 members signed up on the page. Remember this is NO MEMBERSHIP FEE, simply a way to communicate and share with your fellow MKC'ers.

Please... if you follow the postings here and are interested in joining a cruise, meeting other owners, etc. the website will be where announcements and plans will be housed, so do yourself a favor and don't miss out!

I'm not having any issues, and by looking at the three members who signed up this weekend, others are not having issues either.

I've checked and see no errors or problems detected with the website, so please let me know if you continue to have issues.

we are at 37 members strong... glad to see several more folks have signed up after the Spring Kappa Run.

If you read the threads in here, please sign up on the site. We don't spam, we don't e-mail, we simply provide information for upcoming events, a place to host your pictures / videos, and one heck of a great group of folks that love their cars.

Also, if you are on the site and haven't done so yet... can you please edit your name to the following format:

Your name - Forum ID

We are looking to make communication easier by allowing members to know more easily who everyone is. Thanks!
